It’s finally time for this blog to go live! I started topdogmba to write about my re-application efforts to get into leading US and European MBA programmes, having been rejected by my top choice schools in 2013/14.
I got a lot of inspiration and support reading other applicants’ blogs when I was working like crazy trying to balance work, family and MBA applications during the last 12 months. I’d like to give a special mention to MBA Over 30 (and this post in particular) for inspiring me to start a blog as a way to help build my story.
Disclaimer: This blog is not intended as an instruction manual for MBA (re)applicants, but I will be sharing my honest thoughts and experiences from the “first time” while striving to get my re-application strategy in shape for the 2014/15 season.
I hope this blog will help me get into my dream school having faced up to those dings from last year, but also give anyone else out there facing the same challenge a bit of motivation, a place to share helpful feedback and, perhaps even, a few laughs along the way.
Please reach out, add your comments and help make it a learning experience for everyone. Thank you!
